If you want to completely erase a file from a hard drive so that it can never be recovered, Wipe File is an app for Windows that provides 14 different algorithms for secure removal.
Wipe File can work with loose files or entire folders. The number of times that the program overwrites an area of a disk where the information is stored can be looked up along with the name of the algorithm.

The files are completely erased and as a result it is impossible to recover them, not even with specialized software. The program interface is by default in German, but it is possible to change the language through the menu Extras -> Language.
